During a visit to Badakhshan province, UNAMA Acting Head and Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General Georgette Gagnon engaged with local authorities, women entrepreneurs, community leaders, and stakeholders on issues affecting the lives of people in the province, particularly women and efforts to address the impact of narcotics.
